POL-MAK has been active in the paper and printing industry for 40 years. As a Polish family business, we combine decades of experience with modern technology and the development of our own production capabilities.
Today, two separate, specialised companies operate under the POL-MAK brand. Zakład Poligraficzny POL-MAK Sp. z o.o., with production facilities in Batorowo and Przeźmierowo, manufactures decorative paper products, including decorative napkins, paper plates, paper cups, tablecloths and table runners, paper bags and decorative papers, greeting cards and other paper products. POL-MAK IŁAWA Sp. z o.o., with a production facility in Iława, manufactures tissue paper and hygiene products.

A family business with a long tradition
Our family heritage has long been an important part of POL-MAK’s identity. Today, two generations of the Makowiak family are actively involved in developing the companies, while the family’s printing traditions reach back to an earlier generation and the post-war period of the 20th century.
We combine experience passed down through generations with technological progress and a modern approach to business. Our family management model helps us remain flexible, make decisions efficiently and take a long-term view of POL-MAK’s development.
Since 2024, we have been a member of the Family Business Foundation (Fundacja Firm Rodzinnych), which brings together and promotes Polish family businesses.
Three production facilities. In-house expertise
POL-MAK operates three production facilities in Poland: in Batorowo, Przeźmierowo and Iława. Together, we have over 45,000 m² of production and warehouse space and more than 50 production lines for the manufacture of decorative paper products, tissue paper and hygiene products.
The facilities in Batorowo and Przeźmierowo belong to Zakład Poligraficzny POL-MAK Sp. z o.o. and specialise in decorative paper products. The POL-MAK IŁAWA Sp. z o.o. facility in Iława specialises in tissue paper and hygiene products.
We develop our technological and production capabilities by investing in machinery, automation and processes carried out within our companies. This enables us to increase production capacity and respond flexibly to the requirements of different product categories and customer projects.
POL-MAK production capacity
Our extensive machinery enables POL-MAK to manufacture products at scale across many categories. Annual production capacity includes, among other products, 1.8 billion decorative napkins, 600 million unprinted paper plates, 120 million printed paper plates, 120 million paper cups, 36 million paper products, more than 13 million decorative paper products, 12 million decorative paper bags, 12 million paper tablecloths and 2.4 million paper folders.
POL-MAK IŁAWA also has substantial production capacity in the consumer and AFH tissue and hygiene segments: up to 1,000 tonnes of facial tissues, 1,400 tonnes of V-fold paper towels and 1,500 tonnes of AFH roll products per month, based on the production assumptions applicable to each line and product range.
Product quality and safety
Quality and safety are important throughout POL-MAK’s processes, from product design and material selection to manufacturing and finished-product inspection. They are particularly important for products intended to come into contact with food.
Our management systems, standards, testing and certifications support oversight of product quality and safety. The scope of certifications and approvals held reflects the activities of each company and its product categories.
Contract manufacturing and private label
Contract manufacturing and private label production for our customers’ brands are an important part of POL-MAK’s business. We work with customers in Poland and abroad, including international retail chains.
As a private label manufacturer, we support customers at successive stages of a project: from developing a design and adapting the product to preparing its packaging and label. Our broad product portfolio and ability to create coordinated sets across different product categories make it possible to carry out complex private label projects in cooperation with POL-MAK, drawing on the in-house production capabilities of both companies.
Our own production facilities and domestic and export sales teams support efficient project delivery and ongoing cooperation with customers.
POL-MAK brands and product ranges
We develop brands and product ranges for different customer groups and uses. Maki offers decorative collections of napkins and table-setting products designed for special occasions, while Daisy combines everyday practicality with decorative design. For the HoReCa sector, we develop HRC, a professional range for restaurants, hotels, catering businesses and events.
POL-MAK is also a product brand under which we offer, among other items, greeting cards, paper bags and decorative papers. In the professional hygiene products segment, POL-MAK IŁAWA develops the Sempre brand for professional customers.
People and experience
The people behind POL-MAK drive its development. Today, our companies employ more than 550 people. Their knowledge, experience and skills are an important part of our production and organisational capabilities.

Our export sales team manages cooperation with international customers. For nearly 25 years, we have been developing our export sales and working with customers across many international markets. Our team’s experience, extensive production capabilities and flexible approach to project delivery enable us to meet the varied requirements of individual markets.
Our export range includes products from the POL-MAK, Maki and Daisy brands, as well as contract manufacturing and private label production for our customers’ brands. We work with international business partners and retail chains, supplying both products from our portfolio and products developed to meet customer requirements.
