Zakład Poligraficzny POL-MAK received the EcoVadis Silver Medal in June 2026, placing among the top 15% of organisations assessed worldwide for sustainability, with a score of 74/100 and a position in the 87th percentile.

The EcoVadis Medal is one of the most significant international distinctions in sustainability assessment. It reflects the results of an independent assessment of the sustainability management system, covering the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

POL-MAK IŁAWA received the title of Energy Transformation Leader 2025 during the Polish Climate Congress for its project involving the installation of a 3,300 kW cogeneration unit powered by natural gas. The solution enables the simultaneous generation of electricity and heat, supporting efficient energy use at the facility.

Zakład Poligraficzny POL-MAK received the EcoVadis Bronze Medal in April 2025, placing among the top 35% of organisations assessed worldwide for sustainability, with a score of 64/100 and a position in the 77th percentile.

The EcoVadis Medal is one of the most significant international distinctions in sustainability assessment. It reflects the results of an independent assessment of the sustainability management system, covering the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

Zakład Poligraficzny POL-MAK received the first EcoVadis medal in the company’s history – the Bronze Medal – in February 2024, placing among the top 35% of organisations assessed worldwide for sustainability, with a score of 58/100 and a position in the 69th percentile. This was POL-MAK’s first participation in the EcoVadis assessment.

Zakład Poligraficzny POL-MAK received the title of Energy Transformation Leader 2024 for a multi-stage energy transformation implemented between 2020 and 2023. The project included, among other measures, the replacement of lighting with energy-efficient systems, the installation of renewable energy sources and heat pumps, and the implementation of advanced energy procurement strategies.

The company also actively participates in the DSR programme, supporting the stability of the national power system.

Zakład Poligraficzny POL-MAK has undergone independent SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) ethical audits since 2013, while the production facility in Iława has been audited since 2018.

The audits assess labour standards and occupational health and safety. Our long history of audits is an important element of our approach to responsible management and the continuous improvement of organisational practices.

In July 2024, Zakład Poligraficzny POL-MAK Sp. z o.o. and POL-MAK IŁAWA Sp. z o.o. joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), an international United Nations initiative promoting responsible business practices.

Participation in the UN Global Compact involves a commitment to supporting and implementing ten universal principles covering four areas: human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption.

Joining the initiative represents an important element of our approach to responsible business and provides direction for the further development of management practices in both companies.
