Our policies and documents

Our Codes of Ethics set out the fundamental principles governing conduct at work, business relationships and decision-making. They cover respect for people, equal treatment, integrity, environmental responsibility, workplace safety, and the protection of data and confidential information.

They serve as a reference for employees and anyone acting on behalf of the respective company, while informing business partners of the standards that guide our cooperation.

Our human rights policies set out the key principles for respecting human rights, both within our organisations and in relationships with external stakeholders in the supply chain. Zakład Poligraficzny POL-MAK and POL-MAK IŁAWA do not tolerate any violations of human rights or labour law, including among raw material suppliers and manufacturers.

The policies aim to protect human rights effectively and build organisations that support diversity, where employees and external stakeholders are treated with dignity and respect, and business relationships are conducted transparently and fairly.

Integrity and transparency are the foundation of responsible business relationships. Our anti-corruption policies set out the principles for preventing corruption and misconduct, as well as expectations for anyone acting on behalf of the companies.

They address conflicts of interest, gifts and business hospitality, and establish principles for responding to suspected violations. Their implementation is supported by detailed internal procedures.

Our occupational health and safety policies set out commitments to providing safe and healthy working conditions, preventing injuries and ill health, and continually improving safety practices.

These activities are based on hazard identification, risk assessment and appropriate preventive measures. Training, worker participation, and the reporting of unsafe situations and near misses play an important role.

Our environmental policies set out commitments to reducing the environmental impact of our operations, using resources responsibly and improving environmental management.

Activities in this area cover energy and water consumption, emissions, the management of materials, chemicals and waste, and the handling of products and packaging after use. The overarching policies guide the detailed principles and actions implemented within each company.

Our Value Chain Codes of Conduct set out the ethical, social and environmental standards that Zakład Poligraficzny POL-MAK and POL-MAK IŁAWA expect their suppliers and business partners to meet. They cover occupational health and safety, working conditions, diversity, the prevention of forced labour and child labour, climate protection and business ethics.

Each company reserves the right to verify that suppliers’ activities comply with its applicable Code and to terminate cooperation if identified violations are not remedied.
